Mary Anderson Staton

Mary Arline Staton age 88 of 939 Springdale Drive died Saturday, May 17, 2008.
She was born in Buckingham County, VA and was a daughter of the late John Penick and Lucy Haskins Anderson.
Mrs. Staton was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy S. Lane and husband George, Shirley S. Elliott and husband Thomas; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial in Carolina Memorial Park in Concord, NC.
The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 95, Clinton, SC 29325 or to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
