Mary Ellen Lollis, 88, widow of James Pelham Lollis, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009, at the Hospice Home of Laurens County, Clinton.
Mrs. Lollis was born in Fork Shoals, a daughter of the late Joseph Adolphus and Zaidee Estelle Smith Allison.
Surviving are two children, Jane Griffin of Hickory Tavern, and John Lollis and his wife Ilene of Princeton; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Earl Allison and his wife Nora, and Hazel Chapman. Predeceased were a grandson, Griffen James Lollis; one brother and one sister, Marvin Allison and Nellie Lollis.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 5 at Gray Funeral Home, Laurens.
