Mary Ellen Campbell Patterson

Mary Ellen Campbell Patterson, Age 79, of 426 Milam Rd. died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late James and Florence Perry Campbell.
Mrs. Patterson was retired from Clinton Mills, Lydia Plant and a member of the “Old Timers Club” and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Her home was always open to anyone who needed a home and a loving mother to all.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Patterson of the home; five children, Dickie Patterson and wife, Cindy, Sam Patterson and wife, Alisa, Tony Patterson and wife, Kim, Flori Lawson and husband, Charles, Pauline Page and husband, Paul; brothers, Buddy Cambell and wife, Joyce, Walt Campbell; sisters, Betty Wallenzine and husband, Maxie, Ruby Stirewalt and husband, Wray; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by a son, Thomas Alexander Ellison, Jr. and a brother, Ray Campbell, two great grandchildren Jacey and Little Jayme Patterson
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
