Mary C. May, age 80, widow of Ralph Houston May, of 325 Byrnes Street, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 in the Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.
She was born in Newberry and was the daughter of the late John David and Ruby Wicker Crumpton.
Mrs. May was retired from Greenwood Mills. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Clinton.
She is survived by one son, Donald May of Clinton; three daughters, Nadine Faulkner and Shirley Hallman of St. Augustine, FL, and Frances Strand of Clinton; two brothers, J.D. Crumpton of Prosperity and David Crumpton of Newberry; one sister, Pauline Koon of Newberry; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. May was predeceased by one granddaughter, Decie Joanne Strand.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 30th at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 29th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
