Mary Grace Dunaway Crawford

October 23, 1929 — September 3, 2008

Mary Grace Crawford, age 78, formerly of Torrington Rd. and widow of Thomas Sharp Crawford died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Clinton and was the daughter of the late W.A. and Sarah Frances Brewington Dunaway.
Mrs. Crawford retired from Clinton Mills and was a member of the Bailey Memorial Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, William Bright of Laurens; a daughter, Dianne Lee of Cross Anchor; two brothers, Jeter Dunaway of Clinton and Gene Dunaway of Lakeland, FL; two sisters, Irene Starnes of Cross Hill and Margaret Saltzman of Lanford; 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Jack Dunaway and George Dunaway and a sister, Nellie Ward.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her son, William Bright, 1885 Curry Rd., Laurens.
