Mary Jane Jacobs Venklasen, age 63 of 404 Calvert Ave. died Sunday, March 18th at her home.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Thomas Dillard and Marion Cox Jacobs.
She was a graduate of Coker College and the creator of Tiny Trimmings Christmas Ornaments and Decorations, which she did for many years. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, David Sage Veneklasen of the home, one daughter, Sage Zobel and her husband, Jeff and one grandson, Austin Zobel, all of Charlotte, NC, one brother, Dillard Jacobs and his wife, Argent of Columbia.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church of Clinton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday immediately following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Coker College Alumni Association, Office of Development, 300 East College Ave., Hartsville, SC 29550 or South Carolina Oncology Foundation, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
