Mary Joyce Deitz, age 55, of 144 Denna Drive died Thursday, Feb. 2nd in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late William and Maudie Horde King.
She was a former employee of Greenwood Mills Joanna Plant and a member of New Horizon Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Leon S. Deitz of the home, one son, Leon S. Deitz, III of Clinton, five daughters, Denna Griffin of Clinton, Theresa Culbertson of Joanna, Gail Cumbie, Lisa Truelock and Tracy Gore all of Clinton; four brothers, James King, Daniel King, Charles King and Wallace King, four sisters, Willie Mae Yarborough, Syble Montjoy, Edith Owens and Bobbie Moates and fifteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
