Mary Martin Sasser, age 90, of 1 Martha Franks Drive and the widow of Charles Edward Sasser died Friday, March 17, 2006 in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Winnsboro, SC and was the daughter of the late George Pearson and Narcie Clarke Martin.
Mrs. Sasser was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Laurens.
Surviving are her son, Michael Sasser and wife, Janice of Greenville; daughter, Lynn McCalla and husband, Earl of Laurens; daughter-in-law, Robbie Sasser of Laurens; sister, Isabelle Sherrill of Morganton, NC; grandchildren, Adrienne Wiles of Laurens, Tara Sides, Brian McCalla and Kelsey Sasser all of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Miranda Wiles of Laurens, Briana McCalla of Belton and Evan McCalla of Greenville.
She was also predeceased by a son, Edward Martin Sasser and a brother, Fred Martin.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in the Westview Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. in the Martha Franks Rasor Chapel.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
