Mary Mildred Craven Ward

Mary Mildred Craven Ward, age 92, the widow of Edward Franklin Ward of 1081 Hwy. 252 died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006 in the National Health Care of Laurens.
She was born in Franklinville, NC and was a daughter of the late Ross and Mary Ellen Slack Craven.
Before becoming a resident of Laurens, Mrs. Ward was a former resident of Winnsboro, SC and Shelbyville, TN. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are her two daughters, Mary Ross Tucker and Judy Couser both of Laurens; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, Aug. 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Westview Memorial Park, where the family will greet friends following the service.
The family will be at the home of Ken and Judy Couser, 323 Kingwood Estates, Laurens, SC.
