Mary Ott Martin, age 91, of 205 N. Sloan St. and widow of John Thomas Ott, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at her home.
She was born in Scuffletown and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Minnie Lee Puckett Kennedy.
Mrs. Martin was reared at Thornwell Home for Children and retired from Clinton Mills after 46 years of service.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, the Old Timers Club and the Women’s Ministries of First Assembly.
She is survive by three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Pearson; Betty and Randy Campbell and Joyce and James Lanford all of Clinton; one sister, Miriam Janway of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Jackie and wife, Cheryl Pearson of Clinton, Robin and husband, Eric Finley of Laurens, Melissa Lanford of Clinton and Summer Campbell of Clinton and Andy Hale of Simpsonville; four great grandchildren, Daisy Pearson, Krista Samples, Makayla Pearson and Preston Finley.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church with interment in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
