Mary T. (Chick) Baker, age 77 of 1802 Brookside Manor, formerly of Whitmire and widow of Ryan Curtis Baker died Wednesday, March 1st in the White Oak Manor in Newberry.
She was born in Huntsville, AL and was a daughter of the late John and Birdie Rector Thrift.
She was a devoted member of First Church of God; First Church of God Missionary Society and order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are one daughter, Tina Baker Wilkerson of Newberry, three sisters, Doreen Gammage of Jacksonville, Fl, Rosa Burnette of Prosperity and Jean Seigler of Batesburg and her namesake granddaughter, Marylane Leigh Wilkerson.
She was predeceased by a brother, Floyd Thrift.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, March 3rd
at 3:30 p.m. in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
