Mary Wright Holland

Mary Wright Holland age 93 formerly of 314 Florida St. died Thursday, Sept. 13th in the National Health Care of Clinton.
She was born at Lanford Station in Laurens County on May 20, 1914 and was a daughter of the late William Ball and Minnie Lee Casey Wright. She was the granddaughter of the late Sergeant James Berry Wright, the last Confederate soldier in Laurens County.
Mrs. Holland was a 30 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a long time member of Broad Street Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Charles R. Holland and wife Kitty of St. Matthews; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Sept. 16th at 2:00 p.m. graveside at the Leesville Southern Methodist Church Cemetery in Clinton.
The family will receive friends Saturday, 4:00 to 5:00p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Broad Street Methodist Church, 310 North Broad Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
