May R. Maness, age 86, formerly Laurens died Saturday, October 20, 2007 in the Golden Age Nursing Home in Inman.
She was born in Accrington, England and is survived by her husband, Durward J. Maness of Spartanburg; a daughter, Frances Maness of Spartanburg; two sons, Martyn David Rushton of Accrington,England and Ronald W. Maness.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the Westview Memorial Park in Laurens.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lucas Ave. Baptist Church, 101 Lucas Ave., Laurens, SC 29360, the Bethel United Methodist Church, 245 Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306 or Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter St., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
