Medora Campbell Whitman

Medora Campbell Whitman, age 88, formerly of 100 Jefferson, Bellville Apts. and widow of David C. Whitman died Monday, October 26, 2009 in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Clinton and was the daughter of the late A. Furman and Minnie O’Shields Campbell.
Mrs. Whitman was retired from the Clinton Mills Store and was a member of the Davidson St. Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Emily Whitman, Tim and Cathy Whitman and Freddie and Gail Whitman, all of Clinton; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
Memorials may be made to the Davidson St. Baptist Church, the Bailey Manor or to the charity of one’s choice.
The family will be at their respective homes.
