Melissa Crapps Johnson

September 19, 1970 — April 24, 2018

Melissa Crapps Johnson, age 47, of 202 Sumter Street passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Prosperity, SC and was a daughter of James Travis and Barbara Holley Crapps.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and an avid Clemson fan.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Billy Roy Johnson of the home; sisters, April Leopard (Wendall) and Hollie Wingard (Todd) both of Clinton; Aunt Kip and Uncle Wayne Avinger of Joanna; three nephews, Blake Hill, Andrew Hill and Benji Wingard; three nieces, Nikki Wingard, Payton Hill and Lynzi Wingard; and a great nephew, Cayne Hill.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church with interment at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at Gray Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
The family will be at the home of her sister, Hollie Wingard, 477 East Frontage Road, Clinton, SC 29325.
Memorials may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Children’s Fund, 4419 Indian Creek Rd, Kinards, SC 29355.
