Meredith McQueen Holder, age 55, of 600 Calvert Ave. died Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Irmo, S.C.
She was born in Greenville and was the daughter of Sarah and the late Clement E. McQueen.
Ms. Holder was a professor at Presbyterian College, and was very active in many professional organizations.
She is survived by her mother, Sarah G. McQueen of Clinton; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas E. and (Cathy) McQueen of Irmo; sister, Sandra McQueen of Atlanta; and two nephews and several great nephews and great nieces.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church.
A reception will follow after the service at 3:30 p.m. on the Presbyterian College campus.
