Michael Hurston Poag, 42, of 303 Sims Street passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Greenwood SC and was a son of David R. Poag (Patty) of Whitmire and Ann Martin (Reggie) of Joanna.
Mr. Poag was employed with Kiswire Inc. of Newberry, and was an “All In Clemson Fan”.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a daughter, Gabrielle Sherfield of Joanna; a brother, Kevin Emory of Shepherdstown WV; two sisters, Melissa Smythe of Cleveland SC and Ronnie Butler of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Madison and Blayden Sherfield; six nephews and three nieces.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.
