Michael Jay Rinehart, age 72, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his home.

He never met a stranger, always treated everyone equally and was beloved by his family and friends. He will be sorely missed.
Mr. Rinehart is survived by his wife, Kathy Lane Rinehart, they were inseparable and loved each other unconditionally. He is also survived by his children, Andrew Rinehart of Jacksonville, Jessica Rinehart of Greenville, Stacie Williams and Troy, William Evans and wife, Kristi all of North Augusta; he was “Peepa” to his four grandchildren, Ashton Williams, Madison Evans, Camryn Williams and Kylee Evans; he is also survived by his step-sister, Sherri Rinehart (Sylvia); and step-brother, David Rinehart (Carmen).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Tunnels to Towers, two charities that he was passionate about.
