Bishop Michael D. Spires

Michael David Spires, age 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, February 11, 2017.
He was born in Joanna, SC and was a son of the late Grady W., Sr. and Willie Mae Spires.
Mr. Spires is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris S. Spires of Anderson; his two daughters, Sheri DeGomez of Tampa, FL and Robyn Wences of Easley; his brother, Reginald Spires (Sheryl) of Sylvania, GA; his sister, Teresa Rolls of Woodstock, GA; his four grandchildren, Alejandro Gomez, Caleb Wences, Aaron Wences, and Allison Wences; his several cousins and his many many friends.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, Thomas Spires and Grady “Chip” Spires, Jr.
Funeral services will held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 12 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton, burial will take place at Rosemont Cemetery.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Bishop Spires and made to his wife, Doris.
