Michael W. Johnson, age 52 of 501 W. Water St. died Monday, November 21, 2005 at his daughters home in Laurens.
He was born in Welch, West Virginia and was a son of Jack and Shirley Bandy Johnson of Laurens.
Michael was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Carol Bishop of the home; daughters, Michelle Kodak of Laurens, Jennifer Keith of Republic, OH and Janna Johnson of Port Clinton, OH; seven grandchildren, Alexa Haskin, Blaze and Madison Kodak of Laurens, Gunner and Kade Keith, Shane Green and Kaz Johnson of Ohio; sisters, Sharon Saunders of NC, Rita Pauley of VA and Judith Johnson-Wadsworth of Laurens; step-daughters, Brandy Bishop and Christy Leow of OH.
He was predeceased by his brother, Terry Johnson and grandparents, Claude and Lillian Brandy and Lonnie and Hattie Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 26th at 2:00 p.m. in the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, VA with burial in the Grandview Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
