Mildred Lawson Foster

Dateline – Clinton, SC

Mildred Lawson Foster, age 77, of 105 Teakwood Drive, and the widow of Joe Calvin Foster, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of Loree Dunaway Lawson.and the late Boyce Lawson
Mrs. Foster was employed with M.S. Bailey Bank for thirty plus years and was a faithful member of Davidson Street Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher and was on varies committees of the church. She was a breast cancer survivor.
She is survived by a son, David Jody Foster (Tina) of Joanna; four grandchildren, Justin Calvin, Austin, Caleb and Christian; two brothers, Raymond and Billy Joe Lawson both of Clinton and two sisters, Florence Brown of Greenwood and Shirley Longshore of Newberry.
She was predeceased by a brother, Tillman Lawson and a sister, Margaret Ann Barnett.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 18th at 3:00 PM in the Davidson Street Baptist Church with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
