Mildred Alice Prater

Mildred Alice Prater age 90, widow of Hezekiah Sumpter “H.S.” Prater of 139 Tillman Circle passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Chapin and was a daughter of the late Olin and Decie Boland Slice.
Mrs. Prater was retired from Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant and was of the Lutheran Faith.
Surviving are a son, Viktor Carroll Prater of China; three daughters, Connie Elaine Noel (Edward) of Youngsville, LA, Daphine Prater of Joanna, Susan Annette Turner of Tampa, FL; a brother, John Adam Slice of Florence; three sisters, Ola Mae Ellisor of Chapin, Pearl Cribb of W. Columbia, Polly Ann Roland of Irmo; two grandchildren, Michael Nobles of Laurens, John Thomas Franklin Owen of Tampa, FL; and a great grandson, Seth Nobles.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, Feb. 20th at 2:00 P.M. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
