Mildred Cecile McMahan Hyatt, age 83 of 958 Davis Dr., widow of Edward L. Hyatt went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in the Rock Hill Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.
She was born in Sevierville, TN on Feb. 15, 1926 and was a daughter of the late Wesley and Rachel McMahan.
She was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a charter member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Chester.
Surviving are her son, Larry E. Hyatt of Blackstock, SC.; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda H. Roof and Randy of Laurens SC; two grandchildren, Keven Lee Hyatt and wife, Tracey of Blackstock, SC and Kyle Lee Roof of Laurens, three great-grandchildren, Makenzie Hyatt, Garrison Hyatt and Sara Grace Hyatt all of Blackstock ; one sister, Imogene Rallings of Chester, and two brothers, Charles McMahan and Dennis McMahan of Saluda, SC.
Mrs. Hyatt was predeceased by one brother, Eugene McMahan.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Feb. 12 at 2:00 p.m. in First Freewill Baptist Church in Chester with burial in Chester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Chester.
