Milford Harold Wright Jr.

Milford Harold Wright, Jr., “Papa”, age 67, of 103 Bigbee Road, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Clinton, SC and was a son of the late Milford Harold and Mary Bellue Wright, Sr. Mr. Wright served his country as a member of the 1st Battalion Marine 2nd Charlie Company United States Marine Corps and retired after 20 years of service with the South Carolina National Guard. He also was retired from Michelin after 30 years of service, was a member of Bellview Baptist Church, and a member of the South Carolina Officials Association, but what he will be remembered for the most was his unwavering devotion as a husband and as a loving and caring father and grandfather.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Wanda S. Wright of the home; his son, Jeff Wright (Alison) of Greenwood; his two daughters, Nicole Ginn (Chuck Rowlings) of Clinton and Wendy Reed (Patrick) of Greer; his eight grandchildren, J.T. Pitts, Elizabeth Gioia (Josh), Jessica Bolter (Zach), Brandon Pitts, Kendall Pitts, Austin Ginn, Mattie Wright, and Gigi Wright; one great-grandchild, Sophia Gioia; his three brothers, Charles Steele, Wayne Steele, Cecil Steele all of Clinton; and his sister, Margie Burton of Westminster.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 3 PM at the Bellview Baptist Church with burial to take place at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the Gray Funeral Home in Clinton.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Nicole Ginn, 193 Forest Road, Clinton, SC 29325.
