Millard Ellison Duncan

Millard Ellison Duncan, age 77, of 265 Sims St., died Friday, January 2nd, 2015, in the Wallace Thomson Hospital in Union.
He was born in Whitmire and was a son of the late Lloyd Ellison and Emily Tankersley Duncan.
Mr. Duncan was retired from Torrington Bearings Company, a former member of the National Guards, and attended Friendship Baptist Church. He was a good husband, loving father and grandfather, and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Coleman Duncan of the home; a son, Michael Duncan (Bonnie) of Union; a daughter, Rhonda Horton of Pawleys Island; a brother, Arnold Duncan (Janis) of Whitmire; four grandchildren, Stephanie Duncan Pugh (Brandon), Brittany Duncan, Chandler Horton, and favorite grandson, Jacob Horton; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Duncan was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Duncan.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 4th, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Whitmire.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
The family will be at the home.
