Mitchell Wayne Rushton, age 48, of 23835 Hwy. 76E died Monday at his home at the lake.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of Betty Jean Birch Rushton of Clinton and the late J. D. Rushton.
He was owner of M & K Auto Sales.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Baker Rushton of the home, two daughters, Lisa Marie Rushton of the home and Carrie Lynn Dalton of Whitmire; two sisters, Carolyn Mae King and husband William of Clinton and Judy Ann Cash of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Ashley Rushton, Bridgett Dalton and J. R. Dalton and two great-grandchildren, McKinley McDaniel and Kadence Millard.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Lydia Church of God with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
