Montiville "Monty" Cooper

Montiville “Monty” Cooper, age 75, husband of Delia “Dee” Cooper of 149 Thyme Dr. passed away April 29, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Greenville, SC and was a son of the late Guy Lewis and Zoe Nell Sullivan Cooper.
Mr. Cooper was the owner and operator of Cooper Medical Supply and a former car salesman associated with several car dealerships in Spartanburg and Greenville. He was a member of the Patterson Chapel United Methodist Church and a dedicated Shriner. Mr. Cooper was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Mickey, Steve and Mont, Jr. and one daughter, Suzanne Carter all of Greenville, SC; three step sons, Dale Parsons of Lanford, Jimmy Parsons of Greenville and Randy Parsons of New York and two step daughters, Donna Werner of Woodruff and LuAnn Smeal of Greenwood; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
Mr. Cooper was predeceased by one son, Wayne Cooper.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, May 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at the Patterson Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes.
