Muriel Ew

Muriel T. Drew, age 83, widow of Horace H. Drew, of 6151 Whitmire Hwy. died Thursday, May 28, 2009 in the Wallace Thomson Hospital.
She was born in Whitmire and was a daughter of the late Charlie D. and Neta McManess Thomas.
Mrs. Drew was retired from House and Home, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitmire and member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her son, Charles Drew, Sr. of Whitmire; daughter and son-in-law, Linda D. Stewart and husband, Wayne of Whitmire; two grandsons, Charles Drew, Jr. and his wife, Tammy and Michael Shane Drew; and a great granddaughter, Nicole Drew.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 30th at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
