Myrtle Grogan Jones

Myrtle Grogan Jones, age 93, of 7 Holly Circle Greenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 6, 2011.
She was born in Cross Anchor, SC and was a daughter of the late John P. and Rosa S. Grogan.
A longtime resident of Clinton, SC, she was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton and remained so after moving to Greenville in the 1990s.
Blessed with a loving and devoted family, she is survived by her three children, Joseph Jones (Brenda) of Laurens, Joyce Strange (James) of Greenville, and Eleanor Clary (Jimmy) of Saluda; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Lillie Williams; a brother, Clarence Williams, and her husband, Joseph W. Jones.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 9th at
2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
