Myrtle P. Lanford, age 89, formerly of 108 Locust St. died Sunday, October 24, 2009 in the Magnolia Manor in Greenwood.
She was born in Fingerville and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ada Garren Prince.
Mrs. Lanford was a retired employee of Lydia Mill, was a member of the Lydia Baptist Church and was active in the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Lisa Lanford of Abbeville.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
