Nancy Jane Price Steele, age 74, of 61 Central Avenue, Whitmire, SC, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Gaffney, SC, and moved to Whitmire, SC when she was five years old.
Nancy was a daughter to the late Fred Price of Gastonia and Lula Mann of Whitmire, SC.
She is survived by her three daughters, Donna Steele James of Columbia, Sherrie Hoover of Lexington and Becky Steele Alexander of the home; two sons, Tracy Steele of Lexington and Virgil Luna Hunter of Tucson, Arizona; three sisters Freida Cheyanne Price of Gastonia, Elaine Sprouse of Clinton and Susan Jenkins of Whitmire; two brothers, Freddy Marshall and Frankie Price, both of Gastonia; seven grandchildren, one very special grandson, Hunter Alexander, whom she helped raise, sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
