Nannie Lou Samples

August 23, 1920 — January 31, 2017

Nannie Lou Samples, age 96, and the widow of Forrest Samples, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center.
She was born in Pickens County, and was a daughter of the late Henry and Nora McQueen Simpson.
Mrs. Samples was a former employee Clinton Mills and Whitten Center, and was a member to Lydia Mill Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her two sons, John Wayne Samples (Betty) and Bobby Joe Samples (Lois) all of Clinton; her half-brother, Robert Morgan of FL; her five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Doris Ellen Quinn and her sister, Sarah Nobles.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 3 PM at the Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum, the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM prior to the service.
