Nannie Sue Adair Oxley age 92, of 1 Martha Franks Drive died Sunday, October 15, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Oxley was born in Clinton and was the daughter of the late William Taylor and Zula Pearl Nabors Adair.
She retired from the Laurens School District 55, was a homemaker and was also a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Fred W. Oxley, Jr. and his wife, Sheri of Camden; a granddaughter, Adair Oxley of Greenville; one daughter, Florence Oxley Threadgill and her husband, Les of Dallas, TX; and a sister, Florence Cooper of Clinton.
She was predeceased by a brother, Grady Adair of Clinton.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Rasor Chapel at Martha Franks Retirement Center in Laurens.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
