Nathaniel Hunter Sipes, age 20, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 14, 2001, in Laurens, SC and is the son of James Travis Sipes and Angela Wilson Whiteford. Hunter was a Firefighter with the City of Clinton Fire Department; an employee of Food Lion in Clinton; a member of Bellview Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing, and will be remembered for his infectious smile.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Cody Sipes (Ashleigh); his nephew, James Iler Sipes; the love of his life, Kadince Robinson; his paternal grandparents, Dennis and Dianne Sipes; and his step-father, Stephen Whiteford.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James Wilson and Marie Wilson; and step-grandfather, Claude Morgan.
Funeral Services with Fireman Honors will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 2 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial to take place at Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 12 to 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Hunter’s funeral expenses c/o Gray Funeral Home, PO Box 125, Clinton, SC 29325.
The families will be at their respective homes.
