Nellie “Jean” Shockley Campbell age 63 of 205 Davis St. entered into eternal life April 7, 2006 at the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born March 20, 1943 to the late Ida Mae Kessler Shockley and Benjamin Franklin Shockley, Sr.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church and was retired from Inman Mills. She was one of the best women in the world, full of love and will be truly missed and always dearly loved.
Surviving are her loving husband, Temple Campbell of the home; children, Ricky Temple Campbell, Charles Cllifton Murphy, Walter Jefferson Shockley, Sheila Renee Byrson, Linda Gail Patterson, Patricia Ann Goins, and Amanda Jean Campell, two brothers, Joseph William Shockley Sr. and Joe William “Dub” Shockley; a sister, Beulah Mae “Doot” Avery; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
