Olive Gruber

Olive Gruber, age 91, of Joanna, wife of Pickle Gruber, passed away, Monday, November 4, 2024 at NHC of Clinton.

Born July 13, 1933 in Lexington, SC, she was a daughter of the late Horace Frick and Bessie Connelly Frick. Olive retired from the Torrington Bearing Company after many years of service. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church of Joanna. 

In addition to her husband of 58 years, Olive is survived by her sons, Joel Lindler of Hickory Tavern and Keith Lindler of Clinton; her grandson raised in the home, Steven Lindler (Rebecca) of Cross Hill; her granddaughter, Tabitha Starnes of Greenville; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five sisters. 

A Graveside Memorial service will be held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
