Otis H. Gilliam

Otis H. Gilliam, age 91, of 35 Union Street died Saturday, April 30, 2011 in the White Oak Manor in Newberry.
He was born in Newberry County and was the son of the late Willie Henderson and Elvira Berley Gilliam.
Mr. Gilliam was retired from J. P. Stevens Co., was a member of the Whitmire United Methodist Church, a member of the Roseboro Lodge # 195 A.F.M. and was a W.W. II Army veteran.
He is survived by a son, Michael R. Gilliam of Greenville three daughters, Sherry G. Alexander of Whitmire, Kathy G. Ware of Newberry and Audrey G. Gilliam of Whitmire; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doris Hembree Gilliam; two brothers,Herman and Harold
Gilliam and a sister, Avis G. Suber.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Whitmire United Methodist Church with interment in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
