Paul Edward "Eddie" Gregory

Paul Edward “Eddie” Gregory, 70, of Chappells, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
He was born December 13, 1951, in Yancey County, NC and was the son of the late James Edward ‘Babe’ Gregory and the late Molly Randolph Gregory. He served in the U.S. Navy as a submariner and had retired from Gray Construction Company.
He is survived by his son, Thad Gregory (Cassie) of Central; his brother, James “Jim” Gregory (Donna) of Laurens; his sister Valerie Jean Ward (Doug) of Clinton; special friend, Shelia Murphy; best friend Carrol Summer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Vanessa Jane Honeycutt.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries, PO Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648-1178.
