Paul Romines, age 85, of 502 S Marion Street, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Crosby, TN and was a son of the late Lawrence and Katie Romines.
Mr. Romines was retired from Whitten Center. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was inducted into the Laurens County Hall of Heroes in 2014. He was a Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars and retired from the USMC serving our country honorably from 1951-1971.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Romines of Clinton; his daughter, Katie R. Lane of Clinton; his sister, Audrey Estes of Clinton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister, Dolly Knight Crowe and his brother, Silas Romines.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18th at 2 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home.
