Paula Dian Shelnut Little

Paula Dian Shelnut Little, age 79, of Waterloo, SC, passed away, Sunday, March 3, 2024 in Clinton, SC.
She was born November 29, 1944 in Clinton, SC, and was a daughter of the late Paul and Sarah Owens Shelnut. Paula retired from Torrington Bearing Company and was of the Baptist faith. She cherished spending time with her family, enjoying camping trips, and relaxing on the beach. Paula was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane W. Yeager, Kay Dotson (Calvin), and Sheryl Salazar (Jaime); her daughter-in-law, Luann Gaines; her brother, Bruce Wayne Ballew; her grandchildren, Tray Gaines (Ivey), T.J. Gaines, Jordan Gaines (Cassandra), Jackson Gaines, Heather Smith (Travis), Courtney Starks (Pete), Brittney Dotson, Meagan Fowler (Kyle), Jaime Salazar, Jr., Michael Moore, and Maggie Dunkman (Clay); and her great-grandchildren, Kaytlin Chapman, Taylor Gaines, Dillon Gaines, Hannah Gaines, Haleigh Gaines, Trent Gaines, Thomas Gaines, Reagan Smith, Lauren Smith, Lochlan Starks, Wilhelmena "Mena" Starks, Zachary Dotson (Katelin), Colby Dotson, Grace Dotson, Cason Salazar, and Russell Thomas Dunkman; and her great-great granddaughter, Evelyn Dotson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Wayne Gaines, Jr., and Anthony Carlton Gaines; her siblings, Norma Jean Hembry, Sandra Yvonne James, Linda Gail Dilleshaw, and Floyd Eugene Ballew.
A Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the home of her daughter, Diane Yeager, 409 Caldwell Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
