Paul Edward Mitchell, Sr.

Paul Edward Mitchell, Sr. age 73, of 481 Camp Ground Rd., died Monday August 28, 2006 in the Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
He was born in Rices Landing, PA and was a son of the late Jessie Thomas and Josephine Shepler Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell was an associate of Wal Mart, Laurens store, Fire Chief at the Sandy Springs Fire Department. He was a former employee of Carolina Commercial in Fountain Inn and was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Edna May Flowers Mitchell of the home; three sons, Paul Edward Mitchell, Jr. of Greenville, John Jesse Mitchell and Joseph Charles Mitchell both of Knoxville, TN; two brothers, Robert Lee Mitchell of Cleveland, OH, John Jess Mitchell of Akron, OH; one sister, Betty Jean Long of Mentor, OH; two grandchildren, Jason Lee Mitchell and Autumn Nicole Mitchell.
He was predeceased by a brother, Davis James Mitchell of Paragould, PA.
A funeral mass will be conducted Wednesday, August 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial in the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
