Pauline Chastain King

Pauline Chastain King, age 91, widow of D.C. King, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the NHC of Clinton.
She was born February 3, 1933 in Whitmire, SC and was a daughter of the late John Chastain and Kansas Clark Chastain.
She is survived by her daughter Marie Haney (Junior) of Kinards; her step-children, Kay Duffell ( Roy), Bill DeWitt, Charlene Taylor (Albert) and Tonia Craine; her brother, Johnny Thompson; her four grandchildren, Jack Rhodes, Deanne Haney, David Rhodes (Melanie), and Heath Haney; her seven step-grandchildren; her ten great-grandchildren, Lee Rhodes, Brittany Goy, Cameron Rhodes, Kaitlyn Tapia (Nico), Seth Rhodes, Tyler Goy (Erica), Zachary Rhodes (Amanda), Jadyn Rhodes, Cole Haney, and Aveline Rhodes; her five step great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, her second husband, Jackie DeWitt and her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Terry Lee King, and her sisters, Mildred Cromer, Ruth Thompson, and Inez Hill Roland.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 at 2 PM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
