Peggy W. Davis, age 78, of 226 Milam Road passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Bryson City, NC and was the daughter of the late Thomas Wigley and Eva Winchester.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, James Edward “Ed” Davis; a son, Thomas Edward Davis of Clinton; a daughter, Wanda Summers of Clinton; two grandchildren, Jennifer Hill (Brandon) and Vanessa Kelley Mitchell (Garret).
In addition to her parents Mrs. Davis was predeceased by a brother, Mitchel Wigley and a sister, Joann Shelton.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 26 at 4PM at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton with interment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3PM to 4PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
