Peggy A. Laird, 77, of 33389 Hwy 76 E and widow of Gladden Laird died Saturday, October 26th, 2013 at Self Regional Hospital.
She was born in Tangiers, VA, and was the daughter of the late Rolland and Edna Parks.
Mrs. Laird was a member of the Joanna Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Amelia Laird, of the home; brother Gene Parks (Linda) of MD; 3 sisters Sandra Parks of VA, Ella Crockett (Mark) of VA, and Sylvia Mason (Ron) of DE; grandchildren Reggie Nabors and Johnnie Bunton of the home, and Chris Hightower and Eric Bunton of Conway; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Francis Parks.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Tangiers Island, VA.
