Pernie Marie Self, age 86 of 5933 Hwy. 66, died Monday, March 26th at her home She was born in Laurens and was a daughter of Perice and Maude Wardell Leopard.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bellview Baptist Church in Woodruff.
Surviving are one son, Eugene Tucker of Clinton, five daughters, Doris Morgan of Cross Anchor, Judy Knight and Mildred Jennings both of Gray Court, Catherine Boyter of Clinton and Debra Whitehead of Enoree; two sisters, Racheal Smith of Woodruff and Mary Surbert of Spartanburg, 30 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Levi Tucker; second husband, C. D. Self and a daughter, Vida Lell.
Funeral services will be conducted at Gateway Community Baptist Church, 22088 Hwy. 76 E, Laurens, Thursday, March 29th at 4:00 p.m. by Rev. Dan Compton and Rev. James Beck with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The body will be taken to the home at 5933 Hwy. 66, Clinton.
