Preston Worthy, age 87, of 86 Hillcreek Road passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Whitmire, SC and was a son of the late Wallace and Victoria Gregory Worthy.
Mr. Worthy was retired from J.P. Stevens and was the owner of the Hot Spot Gulf, he was also a member of the South Carolina National Guard.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brothers, Ervin, William, Vard, and Robert Worthy; and his sisters, Nellie Mae Worthy, Edna W. Maness, and Patricia W. King.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2 PM at the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness with interment at the Whitmire Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM.
