Rachel Jones Brown

Rachel Jones Brown, age 86, of 139 Gary Street, and widow of Thomas Lee Brown, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at NHC of Clinton, after an extended illness.
She was born in Bath, SC and was a daughter of the late William and Lottie Thomas Jones.
Mrs. Brown was retired from Whitten Center; was a former member of the Eastern Star and was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, William Scott Brown of Little Mountain; her daughters, Marcia Brown Green of Springfield, VA and Connie Brown Moss of Newberry; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Thomas Lee Brown, Jr., and a brother, Luther Jones.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd at 3 PM at Friendship Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends, before the service, from 2 to 3 PM at the Church.
The family will be at 139 Gary Street, Whitmire, SC 29178, on Thursday and Friday, October 1st and 2nd.
