Ray Junior Turner 72 died August 10, 2010 at Laurens County Hospital.
He was the son of the late Dewey and Stella Turner of Simpsonville, SC.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years Mary Ellen Turner, a daughter Teresa Lynn Cooper and her husband Ralph Louis Cooper with 1 grandchild, a daughter, Nonah Zae Cooper.
Special relatives include Ms. Debra Lorene Jones, his sister-in-law.
Mr. Turner worked extremely hard for many years to provide for his family.
Ray was a husband, father, relative and a friend to everyone he ever met.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Shiloh United Methodist Church Thursday, Aug. 12th at 6:00 p.m. by Mr. Stan Stribling. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, friends of the family are respectfully asked to make a donation to your favorite charity.
