Ray Stanley Clinton, age 80 a resident of Whitten Center since 1959 went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 12, 2008.
He was born on November 15, 1927 and was a son of the late Maggie Bell Clinton and John W. Clinton.
Ray was the last living member of his immediate family but is survived by a niece, Karen C. Hammett and husband, John of Rock Hill; two nephews, Wayne Childers and wife, Debbie of Rock Hill, Keith Childers and wife, June of Boiling Springs; a special cousin, Andrea Duncan and wife, Jean of Rock Hill and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his extended family at Whitten Center.
He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Vivian J. Childers.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. at the Whitten Memorial Gardens.
