Reeder P. (Snooty) Davenport

Reeder P. Davenport “Snooty”, age 64 of 842 Glenn St. Ext. died Monday, October 5, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Newberry County and was a son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Annie Elizabeth Pitts Davenport.
Mr. Davenport was retired from ISE of America and was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita Dean Davenport of the home; two daughters, Michelle D. Moore and husband, Johnnie and Tammy Lominack and husband, Donnie all of Newberry; two sons, Tim Whitman and wife, Sharon of Ninety Six, Marvin Whitman and wife, Pam of LaFrance; one brother, Hugh B. Davenport and wife, Sylvia of Newberry; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by four sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the Freedom Baptist Church by Rev. Eddie Bledsoe, with burial in the Newberry Memorial Gardens.
The body will be taken to the home of his daughter, Michelle Moore, 1808 Milligan St., Newberry, where the family will receive friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Freedom Baptist Church, 2028 Mt. Bethel Garmany Rd., Newberry, SC 29108.
